It was announced yesterday that from 2012 the BBC will share television broadcasts of Formula 1 with Sky Sports.
The move will see the BAFTA award winning BBC showing just ten live races, the remainder are likely to still be broadcast on BBC, but later in the day.
This announcement has been met with anger by many fans, as the cost of Sky Sports in HD for a year can reach £600.
F1Predict's opinion of the announcement is that it cannot be in the best interests of fans or the sport in the long term.
