Ricciardo To Get F1 Drive

It was been confirmed on Thursday that Formula 1 hot prospect Daniel Ricciardo is to race for the Hispania team, starting at the British Grand Prix next weekend.

The Australian, who is part of the Red Bull young driver programme, and Toro Rosso's current reserve driver, is expected to take Narain Karthikeyan's position for the remainder of the season.

Karthikeyan, who has funded his own drive with the team in it's second Formula 1 season, may still drive for them in his home Indian Grand Prix, later in the season.

Hispania have recently made some internal restructuring changes, and it is rumoured that team principal Colin Kolles may be replaced as the outfit aim to improve their poor start to the season.
