FIA Publish 2014 Regulations

The FIA have now published the technical guidelines for the 2014 season - nice and early it has to be said!

Some of the major changes include:

> The introduction of self starting motors - so that the driver can start the engine without the need for an army of mechanics.

> Cars may only use electric power in the pitlane - although this electric power will come from both an increased KERS ability, and the conversion of exhaust gasses.

> The minimum weight of the cars will be increased slightly, along with a reduction to maximum front wing widths.

> An introduction of an eighth forward gear.
