Motor racing veteran Tiff Needell has backed Ferrari's appeal against the new smaller four cylinder engines to be used in F1 from 2013.
Ferrari have stated that they will not be using these engines in their road cars in the future.
Needell used his Twitter page to write: "come on, let's start a V6 compromise campaign".
