McLaren Want Current Line-Up To Continue

McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh has announced that he would like the current pairing of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button to continue "for many more years".

Button spent his first season at McLaren last season, after winning the World Championship with the Brawn GP team in 2009.
Hamilton has spent his entire Formula One career with the Woking-based team, since entering the sport in 2007.

Many critics suggested that Button would be shown up by the younger Hamilton if they both drove the same car, yet it was Button who set the pace for much of the earlier part of last season.
Whitmarsh, however, has suggested that the two drivers have a lot to learn from each other.

"We have two drivers that have a bond. They like working together and are both enjoying it."

"Jenson wants to beat Lewis and Lewis wants to beat him, but in the most productive manner."

Brawn Profits

Mercedes GP boss Ross Brawn has made a sizeable return on his investment in the sale of the team to Mercedes-Benz owners Daimler.

Brawn, along with four others, purchased the struggling Honda team in a management buy-out for a symbolic £1 at the end of 2008, following a fairly unsuccessful campaign.
The team's fortunes were turned around the following season, winning both the Constructors crown and Drivers Championship for Jenson Button.

Englishman Brawn has now agreed to sell his shares in the team for a figure believed to be in the region of £100m.

Williams Can Return To Glory

Williams Chairman Adam Parr has said that he believes that innovation, not money, will see his team reclaim their position at the front of the grid.

Parr explained that Brawn and Red Bull won their titles because they had the best, most innovative car, despite not having the funding of some of the other teams.

He admitted that his team do not have the capital of some of their rivals at their disposal, but claimed that this does not dishearten them.

Williams revealed their new livery on Thursday, which is reminiscent of their 'Rothmans' car, which took Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve to Championship glory in the mid '90s.
