Bernie Ecclestone has expressed concerns over the newly published 2014 technical regulations (see separate story here)
It has been proposed that as well as KERS playing a larger role and being available for a longer period per lap, cars would be powered only by an electric motor when in the pitlane.
Ecclestone, however, believes that this could be dangerous: "people could be killed because they won't hear the cars coming."
This seems a slightly extreme view. Surely no one would cross the pitlane without looking - regardless of how much noise the cars made?
