Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has confirmed that Felipe Massa will stay on at the team in 2012, saying that "the drivers are not a problem".
Several drivers have been rumoured to replace Massa after this season, with Mark Webber and Jenson Button (separate story here) suggested as favourites. However, the Italian marque look set to remain with their current line-up.
Brazilian Massa narrowly missed out on the World Championship in 2008, being pipped to the post by McLaren's Lewis Hamilton in a dramatic climax to the season. Massa was relegated to a clear number two driver by the arrival of double World Champion Fernando Alonso, emphasised by the team orders controversy in 2010 when Massa was instructed to let the Spaniard pass.
